Roll 1/4-1/2 inch thick. Either cut with biscut cutter or 3 inch glass. Place on greased cookie sheet. Some Bohemian's roll dough out flat cut into squares, place filling in middle & bring corners together. If making round, place 1 1/2 inches apart let rise till filling doesn't come out when baked. Bake at 350 degrees about 12 min or till browned Filling Apricot, prune, poppy seed, cherry, lemon or anything you like. Note: when I make mine I use the sweet roll dough & try to get the filling from running out when baking. I'm still working on that. Others have done it like a pastry ring with the filling inside.Grandma's Favorite Recipe: Oatmeal Cookies 1 cup sugar 1 cup shortening 2 eggs 1 tsp. vanilla 1 cup stewed raisins 1/4 tsp. salt 1 tsp. soda(add a little raisin water) 1/4 tsp. cloves 1/4 tsp. cinamon 1/4 tsp. nutmeg 2 cups oatmeal 2 cups flour 1/2 cup ground nuts oven= 350 degrees Cook raisins in small amount of water.
